During the Middle Ages men and women kept their coins in small leather sachets and tied them to their clothing. During the 17th and 18th century men’s hunting bags were so beautiful that today they would serve easily as women’s bags. Nowadays handbags are exclusively a female preserve. Women love their bags and many of them are prepared to spend a small fortune to buy the handbag they desire. The favourite models are: A small clutch for the evening and a shopper or a shoulder bag for everyday life. Spacious models are pretty handy for the job and for shopping.

As the name says, women clutch their bag by hand or shift them under one arm. The clutch is an elegant women’s accessory for a chic dinner party or for a festive gala. Many women love body cross-bags, which they can simply hang over their shoulders. Surely, wallets must be able to carry money, ID cards and credit cards. But the old unspectacular wallets of the early days have turned into real trendsetters. The megalomania of the old days pays off as well: The more slots they have, the more important you are. Their inside is well organized and their outside is glittery. The wallets for women have become real works of art and look more and more like a clutch. The many different designs are anything but boring and offer wide range of different models.
